Madeleine Albright to Receive Truman Award
Full Description:
The Harry S Truman Award for Public Service will be presented to former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10 on the steps of the Truman Presidential Museum & Library, 500 W. Hwy. 24. The public is invited to the ceremony and reception, which will be held in the lobby immediately following the ceremony. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be in the Library’s auditorium.
Dr. Albright will sign copies of her book, “The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God and World Affairs,” which will be for sale during the reception.
